Method: projects.thumbnails.getPixels

  • Computes and shows the result of a computation as an image.

  • Requires an ID and authorization token from a previous thumbnails.create request.

  • Uses a GET HTTP request with a specific URL format and requires a thumbnail name as a path parameter.

  • The request body must be empty, and the response is a generic HTTP response.

  • Authorization requires one of four specific OAuth scopes related to Earth Engine or Cloud Platform.

Computes an image showing the result of a computation. The request includes values (an ID and authorisation token) from a previous thumbnails.create request.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Required. A thumbnail name from Thumbnail.name.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response is a generic HTTP response whose format is defined by the method.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/earthengine
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/earthengine.readonly
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform.read-only
