Method: projects.operations.delete

  • Deletes a running operation, signaling the client is no longer interested in the result without actually cancelling the operation itself.

  • Uses a DELETE request to the specified URL with the operation's name as a path parameter.

  • Requires specific OAuth scopes for authorization, such as earthengine or cloud-platform.

  • Returns an UNIMPLEMENTED error if the server does not support operation deletion.

  • Has an empty request body and, if successful, returns an empty response body.

Deletes a long-running operation. This method indicates that the client is no longer interested in the operation result. It does not cancel the operation. If the server doesn't support this method, it returns google.rpc.Code.UNIMPLEMENTED.
