We're releasing an update to our spam detections systems
today that will improve our coverage in many languages and spam types.
This spam update aims to clean up several types of spam
that our community members reported in Turkish, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Hindi, Chinese, and other languages.
We expect this to reduce the visible spam in search results, particularly when it comes to cloaking,
hacked, auto-generated, and scraped spam. The update will take a few weeks to roll out.
We are grateful to our Help community
and users who sent us spam reports
for their valuable feedback of spam trends in various languages. These reports helped us prioritize
and validate our solutions. We're already working on our next update to further protect your search
experience and we appreciate your continued support! Please continue to participate in the
community (which is available in multiple languages!) and send us feedback through our newly-improved
spam report form.
