Some of the information may be outdated (for example, some images may be missing, and some links may not work anymore).\n\nWednesday, May 18, 2011\n\n\nIn November, we\n[launched Instant Previews](/search/blog/2010/11/instant-previews)\nto help users better understand if a particular result was relevant for a their search query.\nSince launch, our Instant Previews team has been keeping an eye on common complaints and problems\nrelated to how pages are rendered for Instant Previews.\n\nWhen we see issues with preview images, they are frequently due to:\n\n- Blocked resources due to a robots.txt entry\n- [Cloaking](/search/docs/essentials/spam-policies#cloaking): Erroneous content being served to the Googlebot user agent\n- Poor alternative content when Flash is unavailable\n\n\nTo help webmasters diagnose these problems, we have a new Instant Preview tool in the Labs\nsection of\n[Webmaster Tools](https://search.google.com/search-console)\n(in English only for now).\n\n\nHere, you can input the URL of any page on your site.
