Google Asistan'ı 2016'da kullanıma sunduğumuzdan beri kullanıcıların hava durumu, yemek tarifleri ve haberler gibi her konuda sorular sorduğunu gördük. Haber sorgularında kullanıcıların güvenebileceği sonuçlar sunabilmek için speakable (sesli okuma) adlı yeni schema.org yapılandırılmış veri spesifikasyonu üzerinde ortak çalışmalar yürüttük. Bu işaretleme uygun yayıncıların Google Asistan tarafından sesli okunabilecek en alakalı haber bölümlerini işaretlemelerini sağlıyor.

Google Asistan bir haber makalesinden alıntı yaparak ve haber kuruluşunun adını belirterek yanıt
verir. Ardından Google Asistan, kullanıcının başka bir haber makalesi dinlemek isteyip istemediğini
sorar ve ilgili bağlantıları kullanıcının mobil cihazına gönderir.
Haber yayıncısı olarak, geliştirici dokümanlarına göre Sesli Okunabilir işaretlemesini uygulayarak içeriğinizi Google Asistan'da gösterebilirsiniz. Şu anda bu özellik ABD'deki İngilizce konuşan kullanıcılar tarafından kullanılabilmektedir. Yeterli sayıda yayıncı sesli okunabilir işaretlemesini uyguladığında diğer dillerde ve ülkelerde de kullanıma sunmayı umuyoruz.
