KeyManager

  • KeyManager is the base interface for managing key material used to authenticate the local side of a secure socket.

  • Key material managed by KeyManager is used to authenticate the local SSLSocket to its peer.

  • Instances of KeyManager can be created using a KeyManagerFactory or by implementing a KeyManager subclass.

  • Without available key material managed by a KeyManager, a socket will not be able to present authentication credentials.
