Method: advertisers.creatives.delete

  • Display & Video 360 API v3 is sunset and users should use v4 instead.

  • To delete a creative, it must first be archived by setting its entityStatus to ENTITY_STATUS_ARCHIVED.

  • A "Standard" user role or greater is required for the parent advertiser or partner to delete a creative.

  • The DELETE request to delete a creative uses a specific URL format with advertiserId and creativeId path parameters.

  • Deleting a creative requires the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video OAuth scope for authorization.

Deletes a creative. Returns error code NOT_FOUND if the creative does not exist. The creative should be archived first, i.e. set entityStatus to ENTITY_STATUS_ARCHIVED, before it can be deleted.

A "Standard" user role or greater for the parent advertiser or partner is required to make this request.

DELETE https://displayvideo.googleapis.com/v3/advertisers/{advertiserId}/creatives/{creativeId}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
advertiserId

string (int64 format)

The ID of the advertiser this creative belongs to.

creativeId

string (int64 format)

The ID of the creative to be deleted.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body is an empty JSON object.

Requires the following OAuth scope:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video
