Method: advertisers.channels.sites.create

  • Display & Video 360 API v3 has sunset, and users should use v4 instead.

  • This document describes how to create a site in a channel using the Display & Video 360 API v3, despite its sunset status.

  • Creating a site requires a POST request to a specific URL format, including advertiserId and channelId as path parameters and partnerId as a query parameter to identify the channel owner.

  • The request and response bodies contain instances of the Site object, and the process requires the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video OAuth scope for authorization.

Creates a site in a channel.

HTTP request

POST https://displayvideo.googleapis.com/v3/advertisers/{advertiserId}/channels/{channelId}/sites

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
channelId

string (int64 format)

Required. The ID of the parent channel in which the site will be created.

Union parameter owner. Required. Identifies the DV360 entity that owns the parent channel. It can be either a partner or an advertiser. owner can be only one of the following:
advertiserId

string (int64 format)

The ID of the advertiser that owns the parent channel.

Query parameters

partnerId

string (int64 format)

The ID of the partner that owns the parent channel.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Site.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Site.
