Method: advertisers.assets.upload

  • Uploads an asset with a maximum file size of 1 GB for videos, 200 MB for ZIP files, and 10 MB for images, returning the asset ID upon successful completion.

  • Utilizes a multipart media upload process and requires the advertiser ID as a path parameter.

  • The request body must include the filename of the asset, while the response body will contain the uploaded asset object if successful.

  • Requires authorization with the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video scope.

Uploads an asset. Returns the ID of the newly uploaded asset if successful. The asset file size should be no more than 10 MB for images, 200 MB for ZIP files, and 1 GB for videos.

Must be used within the multipart media upload process. Examples using provided client libraries can be found in our Creating Creatives guide.

  • Upload URI, for media upload requests:
    POST https://displayvideo.googleapis.com/upload/v3/advertisers/{advertiserId}/assets

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Required. The ID of the advertiser this asset belongs to.

The filename must be UTF-8 encoded with a maximum size of 240 bytes.
