Method: advertisers.campaigns.create

  • Display & Video 360 API v2 has been sunset and this documentation details how to create a new campaign using the API.

  • The API endpoint to create a new campaign is POST https://displayvideo.googleapis.com/v2/advertisers/{campaign.advertiserId}/campaigns and uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

  • The request body should contain a Campaign object and a successful response will return the newly created Campaign object.

  • To authorize the request, you need one of the following OAuth scopes: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video or https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video-mediaplanning.

Creates a new campaign. Returns the newly created campaign if successful.

POST https://displayvideo.googleapis.com/v2/advertisers/{campaign.advertiserId}/campaigns

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
campaign.advertiserId

string (int64 format)

Output only. The unique ID of the advertiser the campaign belongs to.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Campaign.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Campaign.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video-mediaplanning
