type VideoPositionWithinPod (v202411)

  • VideoPositionWithinPod allows targeting video ad positions within a pod, such as first, second, third, or last.

  • When a pod has only one ad, targeting either first or last position will reach it.

  • The 'index' field uses numeric values to represent positions (1 for first, 2 for second, etc.), with 100 always representing the last position, regardless of the actual pod size.

  • Multiple targets can be set for the last position using the index 100, but positions beyond 100 are not supported.

Represents a targetable position within a pod within a video stream. A video ad can be targeted to any position in the pod (first, second, third ... last). If there is only 1 ad in a pod, either first or last will target that position.

Field

index

xsd:int

The specific index of the pod. The index is defined as:

  • 1 = first
  • 2 = second
  • 3 = third
  • ....
  • 100 = last
100 will always be the last position. For example, for a pod with 5 positions, 100 would target position 5. Multiple targets against the index 100 can exist.
Positions over 100 are not supported.
