AdWords API

What is the Google AdWords API?

The AdWords API allows applications to interact directly with the AdWords platform. You can build applications to more efficiently manage large or complex AdWords accounts and campaigns.

The AdWords API uses SOAP; to help you get started, we offer client libraries in a number of popular flavors, including Java, PHP, Python, .NET, Perl, and Ruby.

To get started:

  1. Sign up for AdWords API access and a test account.
  2. Download the client library of your choice.
  3. Refer to the Developer's Guide as you're developing your application, and if you have questions, visit the AdWords API forum.
