Enum FeedbackType

  • FeedbackType is an enum used to represent different types of feedback in Google Forms, accessible via FormApp.FeedbackType.

  • It includes three properties: CORRECT, INCORRECT, and GENERAL, used to specify feedback for correct answers, incorrect answers, and general feedback respectively.

  • Feedback is displayed to respondents automatically based on their answers and the type of feedback specified.

  • Each feedback type is associated with specific question types it can be applied to for providing targeted feedback to users.

FeedbackType

An enum representing the supported types of feedback. Feedback types can be accessed from FormApp.FeedbackType.

To call an enum, you call its parent class, name, and property. For example, FormApp.FeedbackType.CORRECT.

// Open a form by ID and add a new list item.
const form = FormApp.openById('1234567890abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz');
const item = form.addListItem();
item.setTitle('Do you prefer cats or dogs?');
// Set "Dogs" as the correct answer to this question.
item.setChoices([
  item.createChoice('Dogs', true),
  item.createChoice('Cats', false),
]);
// Add feedback which will be shown for correct responses; ie "Dogs".
item.setFeedbackForCorrect(
    FormApp.createFeedback().setDisplayText('Dogs rule, cats drool.').build(),
);
