Iniziare a utilizzare la barra dei menu di Google Earth
La maggior parte delle funzionalità di Google Earth si trova nella barra dei menu in alto. Puoi
accedere alla barra dei menu di Google Earth facendo clic su Esplora la Terra dalla
schermata Home iniziale.
File
Visualizza tutti i progetti:si apre la schermata Home di Earth con un elenco completo dei progetti recenti di Drive e locali a cui il tuo account ha accesso.
Salvati su Google Drive
Nuovo progetto: crea mappe e storie personalizzate sui luoghi di tutto il mondo con testi, foto e video. Puoi anche collaborare con altre persone condividendo le tue mappe e le tue storie.
Importa file nel progetto: importa un file KML o KMZ dallo spazio di archiviazione locale del computer o un file esistente da Google Drive.
Apri My Maps da Drive: apri il progetto My Maps direttamente da
Google Drive su Earth.
File KML locali
Nuovo file KML locale: crea un nuovo file KML che viene salvato nell'archiviazione del browser del computer.
Apri file KMZ locale: apri un file KML dallo spazio di archiviazione del computer
senza importarlo in Google Drive
Esporta come file KML: scarica un progetto come file KML nello spazio di archiviazione del computer.
Elimina: il progetto verrà rimosso da Earth e spostato nel cestino di
Google Drive. Dopo 30 giorni nel cestino di Drive, il progetto verrà eliminato
definitivamente.
Modifica
Copia:duplica i segnaposto, i percorsi e i poligoni per trasferire o eseguire il backup dei tuoi dati geografici in modo semplice.
Incolla:inserisci i segnaposto, i percorsi o i poligoni copiati nella visualizzazione corrente.
Visualizza
Avvia presentazione: accedi a una presentazione dei tuoi progetti.
Mostra linee della griglia: per conoscere le coordinate geografiche e la tua posizione approssimativa sulla superficie terrestre, attiva le linee della griglia.
Mostra immagini storiche:esplora come sono cambiate le località nel tempo
con una cronologia delle immagini passate.
Mostra Street View: ottieni una prospettiva a livello del suolo con viste panoramiche a 360 gradi delle strade di tutto il mondo.
Livelli: passa da uno stile della mappa all'altro e attiva livelli aggiuntivi diversi.
Nascondi barra dei menu:visualizza Google Earth a schermo intero senza elementi che distraggono.
Aggiungi
Cartella: per organizzare viaggi e altri progetti, utilizza le cartelle.
Segnaposto: trova i tuoi luoghi preferiti sul globo e salvali
con i segnaposto.
Percorso o poligono: contrassegna la mappa con linee di percorso e poligoni disegnati a mano.
Slide: aggiungi elementi come Slide ai progetti di Drive o ai file KML.
Overlay riquadro: visualizza sulla mappa i livelli dati basati sulla posizione relativi a una certa area con gli overlay riquadro.

Misurazione: misura le distanze tra i luoghi e lungo i percorsi. Puoi
anche misurare le dimensioni dei poligoni che disegni in Google Earth.
Esplora progetti di edifici e di pannelli solari: crea uno studio di progettazione all'interno del tuo progetto di mappa per determinare i migliori progetti di edifici e le migliori opzioni di energia solare per le aree urbane su scala comunitaria, come infrastrutture e parcheggi esistenti.
