Enum value Description
limited A feed that is limited to a small set of related ElectionEvents that occur over a short time period, such as the Mexico State General Elections for President, Federal Deputy, Senator, and Vice President that occur on June 02, 2024. Valid for pre-election or election-results feed types.
yearly A feed that contains multiple unrelated sets of ElectionEvents that occur throughout a single calendar year, such as all federal and state elections in the United States in 2024. Valid only for the pre-election feed type.
evergreen A feed that is continuously updated and never expires. Valid for officeholder, election-dates, voter-information, and committee feed types.

Removing entities from feeds

The rules for when entities can be removed from a feed depend on its longevity:

  • evergreen feeds: Entities with end dates (such as elections, officeholder tenures, party leadership tenures, and election-specific voter info) and related entities can be safely removed from evergreen feeds 60 days after they have ended or 60 days after that end date was added to the feed, whichever is latest.
  • limited and yearly feeds: Entities shouldn't be removed from a limited or yearly feed at all unless they were added in error.
