Google uses Open Collective to fund the open source organizations taking part in
Season of Docs.
Participating organizations are strongly encouraged to use Open Collective to
transfer funds directly to the technical writer, but can use a platform/method
of their choice to transfer funds to technical writers and volunteers.
Technical writers should review the organization's proposed project budgets
and discuss their compensation and payment schedule with the organization prior
to hiring.
