This page describes the mailing lists and other channels that you can use to ask questions and share information with other Season of Docs participants.

Note: The requirements for professional and courteous conduct described in the program rules apply in all Season of Docs discussion channels too.

Mailing lists

• Announcements: Visit season-of-docs-announce for the latest updates and announcements related to Season of Docs. Join the group to receive updates via email.

• Discussions: Take part in season-of-docs-discuss for a general discussion of Season of Docs. Ask other participating technical writers and mentors for answers to your questions and share your experiences with them.

• Season of Docs technical writer mailing list: The Season of Docs technical writer mailing list is an invitation-only list of current and past Season of Docs technical writers. We encourage you to join this list as you can talk to other technical writers across the program and can get guidance on any questions you may have during Season of Docs. You can remove yourself from the group at any time by following the unsubscribe link in the footer of every email message.

  We are no longer accepting invitation requests for the technical writer mailing list.

Note: Never send personal information (such as phone number, address, or government identification numbers) to a group mailing list.

Slack

Use this Slack invitation link [Slack invitation no longer available] to sign up for the Season of Docs workspace on Slack (seasonofdocs.slack.com).

The Slack workspace offers various channels where you can discuss matters relating to Season of Docs with other participants and interested people.
