תמיכה בשמות ב-Swift

גרסה 12.0.0 כוללת שינויים בהתאם למוסכמות השמות שמופיעות בהנחיות לעיצוב API של Swift. השינויים האלה משפיעים רק על Swift. לא בוצעו שינויים בשמות של ממשקי ה-API של Objective-C.

שינויים בקידומת של הכיתה

בוצעו השינויים הבאים בקידומות של הכיתות:

• הסרנו את הקידומת GAD מכל השמות של כל הסוגים.
• הקידומת GAM שונתה ל-AdManager.
• הקידומת GADM שונתה ל-Mediation.

פתרון שגיאות

הדרך הכי טובה לפתור שגיאות שנובעות מהשינויים האלה היא להשתמש בכלי לתיקון שגיאות.

פתרון בעיות שקשורות לשמות

כדי לפתור התנגשויות בשמות, צריך להשתמש במרחב השמות שמסופק על ידי המודול. לדוגמה, GADRequest נקרא עכשיו Request. בדוגמה הבאה, מרחבי השמות של המחלקה Google Mobile Ads SDK Request:

המילון customTargeting ב-GADRequest משתמש עכשיו ב-Any במקום ב-String כסוג הערך. כך אפשר להעביר ערכים מספריים ל-API.

שינויים בפרמטרים של תוספים

• העברת מפתחות אל additionalParameters כבר לא מחילה טירגוט מותאם אישית על בקשות להצגת מודעות ב-Ad Manager. מידע נוסף על טירגוט בהתאמה אישית

‫Google Mobile Ads SDK גרסה 11.0.0 מציגה מודעות רק במכשירים עם iOS מגרסה 13 ומעלה.

הערה: Google Mobile Ads SDK גרסה 11.0.0 עדיין פועלת במכשירי iOS 12, אבל לא יוצגו בה מודעות.

הוסרה התלות ב-GoogleAppMeasurement

בגרסה 11.0.0, התלות ב-GoogleAppMeasurement הוסרה. התלות הזו, שהפעילה את המתג של מדדי המשתמשים ב-AdMob, תבוטל בתחילת 2024. כדי להמשיך לאסוף מדדי משתמשים ב-AdMob, צריך לקשר את האפליקציה שמקושרת ל-AdMob ל-Firebase ולשלב את Google Analytics for Firebase SDK באפליקציה.

שינויים בהצגת מודעות במסך מלא

השינויים הבאים משפיעים על פורמטים שונים של מודעות:

הסרת בקשה להתקשרות חזרה באפליקציה

הסרנו את willLeaveApplication callback לכל הפורמטים של המודעות, ועכשיו אפשר להשתמש במתודות applicationDidEnterBackground: ו-sceneDidEnterBackground:. ממשקי API ברמת מערכת ההפעלה שולחים לכם התראה בכל פעם שהמשתמשים יוצאים מהאפליקציה, בלי קשר לשאלה אם זה קורה בגלל אינטראקציה עם מודעה או לא.

חשוב לציין שפונקציית ה-willLeaveApplication callback אף פעם לא נועדה להיות handler של קליקים על מודעות, והסתמכות על פונקציית ה-callback הזו לדיווח על קליקים לא הניבה מדד מדויק. לדוגמה, קליק על הסמל של AdChoices שהפעיל דפדפן חיצוני יפעיל את הקריאה החוזרת (callback), אבל לא ייספר כקליק.
