Programação de funcionários

Organizações com funcionários que trabalham em vários turnos precisam agendar trabalhadores suficientes para cada turno diário. Normalmente, as programações terão restrições, como "nenhum funcionário deve trabalhar em dois turnos seguidos". Em termos computacionais, pode ser difícil encontrar uma programação que satisfaça todas as restrições.

As seções a seguir apresentam dois exemplos de problemas de agendamento de funcionários e mostram como resolvê-los usando o solucionador C-SAT.

Um problema de agendamento de enfermagem

No próximo exemplo, um supervisor de hospital precisa criar um cronograma para quatro enfermeiras em um período de três dias, sujeito às seguintes condições:

  • Cada dia é dividido em três turnos de oito horas.
  • Todos os dias, cada turno é atribuído a um único enfermeiro, e nenhum deles trabalha mais de um turno.
  • Cada enfermeiro é designado para pelo menos dois turnos durante o período de três dias.

Atribuir enfermeiros para turnos

Para cada enfermeiro, a soma dos turnos atribuídos a ele é no máximo 1 ("no máximo" porque ele pode ter o dia de folga).

Atribuir turnos uniformemente

Em seguida, mostramos como atribuir turnos para enfermeiros da maneira mais uniforme possível. Como há nove turnos no período de três dias, podemos atribuir dois turnos para cada uma das quatro enfermeiras. Depois disso, haverá um turno restante, que poderá ser atribuído a qualquer enfermeiro.

Como há um total de num_shifts * num_days turnos no período da programação, você pode atribuir pelo menos (num_shifts * num_days) // num_nurses

turnos para cada enfermeiro, mas alguns turnos podem ser deixados para trás. Aqui, // é o operador de divisão de números inteiros do Python, que retorna o mínimo do quociente normal.

Para os valores fornecidos de num_nurses = 4, num_shifts = 3 e num_days = 3, a expressão min_shifts_per_nurse tem o valor (3 * 3 // 4) = 2. Portanto, você pode atribuir pelo menos duas mudanças a cada enfermeiro. Isso é especificado pela restrição (aqui em Python)

Como há nove turnos no total durante o período de três dias, há um turno restante após atribuir dois turnos para cada enfermeiro. O turno extra pode ser atribuído a qualquer enfermeiro.

A linha final (aqui em Python)

model.add(sum(num_shifts_worked) <= max_shifts_per_nurse)

garante que nenhum enfermeiro receba mais de um turno extra.

A restrição não é necessária nesse caso, porque há apenas um turno extra. Mas, para valores de parâmetro diferentes, pode haver várias mudanças extras. Nesse caso, a restrição é necessária.

Atualizar parâmetros do solucionador

Em um modelo que não é de otimização, é possível ativar a pesquisa para todas as soluções.

O número total de soluções é 5.184. O argumento de contagem a seguir explica o motivo.

Primeiro, há quatro opções para o enfermeiro que trabalha em outro turno. Após a escolha desse enfermeiro, há três turnos que podem ser atribuídos a cada um dos três dias, então o número de maneiras possíveis de designar o enfermeiro com o horário extra é 4 · 33 = 108. Após atribuir esse enfermeiro, restam dois turnos não atribuídos em cada dia.

Das três enfermeiras restantes, uma trabalha os dias 0 e 1, uma trabalha os dias 0 e 2 e a outra trabalha os dias 1 e 2. Há três! = Seis maneiras de atribuir os enfermeiros a esses dias, conforme mostrado no diagrama abaixo. (As três enfermeiras são rotuladas como A, B e C, e ainda não as designamos para turnos.)
