In healthcare, a care plan captures and guides which activities should be
delivered by a set of healthcare providers for a given patient. Care Plans play
a key role in enabling coordinated patient-centric care.
Using the Workflow Library, developers can use FHIR and Clinical Quality
Language (CQL) on-device to build workflow-enabled applications to guide care
delivery and generate mobile-based analytics.
The Workflow Library provides support for two main use cases:
- Enabling clinical decision support for generating personalized FHIR
CarePlans at the point of care
- Calculating in-app clinical quality metrics and analytics
Using the Workflow Library, developers and implementers are able to deploy and
execute Clinical Guidelines on FHIR content such as the
WHO SMART Guidelines Implementation Guides.
The Workflow Library is dependent on the FHIR Engine library.
