This section specifies the minimum GFPS features required to certify FastPair on Hearable devices.

TWS (True Wireless Headphones)

This section specifies the TWS behavior for the FastPair functionality and includes the mandatory, and optional features of GFPS required to certify FastPair on TWS.

Dependency

To be certified, the device shall support at minimum GFPS v3.1 specification.

Features supported

Requirement	Feature
Mandatory	Device shall follow FastPair Configuration. Device shall support Initial Pairing. Device shall support Subsequent Pairing. Device shall advertise based on FastPair Advertising Signal. Device shall implement GATT Characteristics. Device shall follow FastPair Procedure. Device shall support Message Stream: Device Information. Device Action (Ring Device). Device shall support Battery Notification extension and shall support levels for three components (left & right earbud and charging case) along with charging status. For charging case if battery level is not supported send an invalid value of 0xFF. Device shall support Personalized Name. Device shall support Retroactive Pairing extension.
Optional	GATT Characteristics: Firmware Revision. Audio Switch: Minimum GFPS version supported by device shall be v3.2. Device shall support MAC. Device shall support Acknowledgement. Hearable Controls. Find My Device Network.

Headphone

This section specifies the headphone behavior for the FastPair functionality and includes the mandatory and optional features of GFPS required to certify FastPair on headphone.

To be certified, the device shall support at minimum GFPS v3.1 specification.
