Configurer Places Insights

Places Insights vous permet d'améliorer vos propres données grâce à des insights statistiques sur les données des points d'intérêt afin de prendre des décisions commerciales plus éclairées.

Avant de pouvoir interroger les données Places Insights, vous devez d'abord vous inscrire pour accéder au produit Places Insights. Une fois votre compte intégré, vous pourrez vous abonner à l'ensemble de données Places Insights pour votre pays cible.

Prérequis

Pour accéder aux données Places Insights, vous devez :

1. Inscrivez-vous pour demander l'accès à Places Insights.

2. Posséder un compte Google Cloud.

   Si vous n'avez pas de compte, cliquez sur le bouton Premiers pas. Il redirige les utilisateurs vers une procédure de configuration interactive dans la console Cloud destinée aux nouveaux utilisateurs :

3. Activez l'API BigQuery. Pour savoir comment activer BigQuery et suivre un tutoriel sur son utilisation, consultez Interroger un ensemble de données public avec la console Google Cloud.

4. Activez l'API Analytics Hub.

5. Assurez-vous que votre compte dispose du rôle propriétaire d'abonnement Analytics Hub (roles/analyticshub.subscriptionOwner) pour effectuer des tâches d'abonné.

6. Assurez-vous que votre compte dispose du rôle Utilisateur BigQuery (roles/bigquery.user) pour créer des ensembles de données.

7. Assurez-vous que votre compte dispose du rôle Lecteur de données BigQuery (roles/bigquery.dataViewer) pour afficher et interroger les ensembles de données associés.

S'abonner à l'ensemble de données Places Insights

Les données Places Insights sont disponibles pour les villes et les pays listés dans le tableau ci-dessous. Chaque ville et chaque pays possède sa propre fiche de données à laquelle vous devez vous abonner individuellement.

Pour vous abonner à une fiche :

1. Sélectionnez le lien d'abonnement pour la ville qui vous intéresse dans le tableau ci-dessous.

2. Une boîte de dialogue s'ouvre pour ce pays dans la console Google Cloud. Par exemple, pour la fiche de New York, États-Unis (US) :

   

3. Sélectionnez le bouton S'abonner dans la boîte de dialogue.

4. Dans la boîte de dialogue, confirmez ou modifiez les champs Projet, Nom de l'ensemble de données associé, Région principale et Régions de réplique. Vous pouvez choisir d'utiliser le nom de fiche par défaut ou définir un nom personnalisé.

   

5. Sélectionnez Enregistrer.

6. Une fois l'abonnement à la table terminé, il apparaît dans le panneau Explorateur de BigQuery dans la console Google Cloud. Dans vos requêtes SQL, utilisez le nom de table indiqué ci-dessous pour accéder aux données.

   

Fiches disponibles

Les tableaux suivants répertorient les villes et les pays acceptés, et fournissent des liens pour s'abonner. Vous pouvez vous abonner aux données échantillons et aux données complètes pour chaque ville et chaque pays.

Conseil : Pour contourner les seuils de confidentialité et récupérer des nombres exacts et des ID de lieux, nous vous recommandons vivement d'utiliser les fonctions de dénombrement des lieux au lieu d'interroger directement l'ensemble de données. Pour utiliser une fonction, remplacez FUNCTION_NAME dans les références de tableau par la fonction de votre choix (par exemple, PLACES_COUNT_V2 ou PLACES_COUNT_PER_H3).

Une fois que vous vous êtes abonné à une ou plusieurs fiches, exécutez le notebook suivant pour voir les données en action dans un environnement interactif.
