Google Maps and deck.gl GeoJsonLayer

Visualizing thousands of points

This example visualizes recent earthquakes using the deck.gl GeoJsonLayer and a ScatterPlot of earthquakes.

Loading deck.gl

The below script can be added to the HTML so that deck is globally available. See the sample source for the usage in this sample.

Clone Sample

Git and Node.js are required to run this sample locally. Follow these instructions to install Node.js and NPM. The following commands clone, install dependencies and start the sample application.

  npm i

Other samples can be tried by switching to any branch beginning with sample-SAMPLE_NAME.
