The Display & Video 360 API BigQuery Connector is a configurable service that
automatically retrieves Display & Video 360 resources and stores them in
BigQuery using Display & Video 360 API resource formats
for querying and analysis.
See the BigQuery Display & Video transfer guide and
data transformation reference documentation for information
on setting up this service.
How does it work?
The Display & Video 360 API BigQuery Connector is a BigQuery Data Transfer
Service that you can turn on under a Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
project. You create a BigQuery dataset to store the resulting data
and set up the transfer using the GCP console.
After you turn on the Display & Video 360 API BigQuery Connector, it regularly
imports resource data into BigQuery. From here you can query and retrieve the
data from BigQuery using GoogleSQL syntax.
Although there is no cost for the data transfer, standard BigQuery
storage and query pricing applies once
the data is in BigQuery.
The resource definitions used by Display & Video 360 API BigQuery Connector will
be updated following the release of each new Display & Video 360
API version.
What can it do?
Using the Display & Video 360 API BigQuery Connector, your team can:
- Automate the daily import of Display & Video 360 resource settings into
BigQuery.
- Complete quality assurance of your Display & Video 360 resource settings
through programmatic or manual BigQuery queries.
- Join imported Display & Video 360 resource settings data with any other
BigQuery datasets.
Who is it built for?
Integrating with Display & Video 360 API BigQuery Connector is ideal for teams
that manage a significant number of Display & Video 360 resources and want to be
able to query their data manually or programmatically. Teams currently using the
Display & Video 360 API can use it to automate resource
retrieval. Teams currently retrieving Entity Read Files can use it
as a replacement for the deprecated product.
Teams will need the resources to set up and utilize BigQuery and the ability to
support updates to resource structure with the adoption of new Display & Video
360 API versions.
What products work with it?
Display & Video 360 API can be used to edit the resources
retrieved by the BigQuery Connector. A combined integration of
these two tools can produce a robust and automated quality assurance process.
Reporting Data Transfer can be used to regularly transfer event-level
Display & Video 360 performance data into BigQuery. Your team can run queries
joining performance and resource settings data using both of these tools to
import Display & Video 360 data into BigQuery.
