Track usage metrics

This guide explains how to use the API diagnostics add-on to monitor Merchant API usage.

With API diagnostics, you can do the following:

• Monitor the usage of your API calls.
• Track the success and failure metrics of API calls.
• View the exact errors that caused API requests to fail.

It provides insights into the usage metrics, helping you understand how your calls are performing.

Note: API diagnostics displays metrics for both Content API and Merchant API. You will see a consolidated view if you use both APIs.

How to monitor usage statistics

To track the usage metrics in Merchant Center, do the following:

1. Go to Merchant Center.

2. Select the settings icon . A menu appears.

3. From the menu, click Add-ons.

4. To enable the API diagnostics add-on, click Add.

5. A dialog appears, click Add.

6. Click Your add-ons.

7. Click Go to API diagnostics.

8. The API diagnostics page appears, where you can track usage metrics.
