Akıllı banner'lar, farklı cihazlarda her iki yönde de herhangi bir ekran boyutunda ekran genişliğinde banner reklamlar oluşturan reklam birimleridir. Akıllı Banner'lar, cihazın mevcut yönündeki genişliğini algılar ve reklam görünümünü bu boyutta oluşturur.

iPhone'lardaki akıllı banner'ların yüksekliği dikey modda 50 nokta, yatay modda ise 32 noktadır. iPad'lerde yükseklik hem dikey hem de yatay modda 90 noktadır.

Bir resim reklam, ayrılan alanın tamamını kaplayacak kadar büyük olmadığında resim ortalanır ve her iki taraftaki boşluk doldurulur.

Akıllı Banner'ları kullanmak için reklam boyutu olarak kGADAdSizeSmartBannerPortrait (dikey yön için) veya kGADAdSizeSmartBannerLandscape (yatay yön için) değerini belirtmeniz yeterlidir:

iOS 11 için güvenli alanın eklenmesinden bu yana, tam genişlikte banner'lar için banner'ın kenarlarına güvenli alanın kenarlarına kısıtlamalar da eklemeniz gerekir. Bunun nasıl yapılacağını gösteren bir kod snippet'i aşağıda verilmiştir:
