Set up a Google Cloud project

A Google Cloud project is a set of configuration settings that define how your app interacts with Google services and what resources it uses.

Create a Google Cloud project

If you haven't already created a Google Cloud project for your app, follow the steps below.

1. In the Google Cloud console, open the Google Cloud projects list.
2. Click Create Project.
3. Fill out the project information.
   1. If you want to publish an app listing privately to a domain, under Organization, choose the organization that needs access to the app.
4. Click Create.

Add collaborators

Cloud project owners should grant others at least edit access to the Cloud project. This way, you don’t lose access to the Cloud project’s settings if the owner leaves your organization. You can add individuals or groups as collaborators.

Warning: If you don't add collaborators to your Google Cloud project, it’s vital that you transfer ownership of the Cloud project prior to the owner's account being shut down or removed. Otherwise, you could lose access to the Cloud project’s settings entirely.

• You can only transfer ownership to someone within your domain.
• If the account of the person that uploads the app listing’s images is shut down or removed, the images are removed from the app listing.
