Firebase

  • We recently announced at the Game Developers Conference that the Firebase mobile SDKs for Unity and C++ are now out of beta. We put together this handy guide to help you develop successful games using Firebase.
  • StreamView and DebugViews from Firebase Analytics are being rolled out to the general public, allowing even those not using BigQuery to view analytics results a lottt faster.
  • New Cloud Storage for Firebase: Previously, you had a single bucket for your Firebase projects. Now, you can use any Cloud Storage bucket, from any global region and from any storage class, all straight from the Firebase SDK. Win!
  • The highly requested Cloud Functions for Firebase is in beta! You’ll now be able to extend and connect Firebase features using Cloud Functions and do even more with your app without having to think about servers.
  • If you're in the Bay Area register for the “Develop and Grow with Firebase” event (4/20, Launchpad Space, SF). The Firebase team will host free tech talks, hands-on Codelabs and 1:1 mentoring to get you up-to-speed on the latest launches.
