The following describes how we applied the iteration phase of the Natively Adaptive Interfaces (NAI) approach to a specific use case: making online videos accessible to blind and low-vision (B/LV) users.
-
Analyzed the feedback.
-
Went through more than 40 iterations based on feedback from 45 co-design and user test sessions.
Key technical capabilities and approaches
While building an agentive video prototype using the NAI approach, the feedback phase helped identify and refine key technical lessons and insights through the iterative prototyping process.
Through an iterative process, we learned the following lessons:
- Enhance AI agent's core capabilities that improve the agent's fundamental ability to understand and respond effectively to user needs:
- Improve UI accessibility
- Implement high-leverage features
- Focus on enabling equivalent user experiences
