Method: accounts.update

  • This document outlines how to update a specified Google My Business account using the accounts.patch method.

  • Only the accountName field of an account is editable; other fields are ignored during updates.

  • The request should be a PUT request to the specified URL with the account name as a path parameter.

  • You can validate the request without updating the account by setting the validateOnly query parameter to true.

  • plus.business.manage or business.manage OAuth scopes are required for authorization.

Updates the specified business account. Personal accounts cannot be updated using this method.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage
