Method: accounts.get

  • This document details how to get information about a specific Google My Business account using the Accounts API.

  • The request requires an HTTP GET request with the account name specified as a path parameter.

  • The response provides the account details in the response body, if the account exists and the caller has access.

  • This API is deprecated, it's recommended to use the Account Management API instead for accessing account information.

  • Authorization is required with specific OAuth scopes, including 'plus.business.manage' or 'business.manage'.

Gets the specified account. Returns NOT_FOUND if the account does not exist or if the caller does not have access rights to it.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

The name of the account to fetch.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Account.

Authorization Scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/plus.business.manage
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage
