अनकोड की गई/सामान्य वैल्यू के साथ-साथ, अनुरोध पाथ में मौजूद प्रॉडक्ट आइडेंटिफ़ायर अब बिना पैडिंग वाले base64url एन्कोडिंग का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं. इस सुधार से यह पक्का किया जाता है कि पहचानकर्ताओं में खास वर्ण (जैसे, फ़ॉरवर्ड स्लैश) वाले प्रॉडक्ट को आसानी से वापस पाया जा सके और प्रोसेस किया जा सके.
