Dashed Line Symbols (Polyline)

  • This example demonstrates how to create a dashed polyline on a map using the Google Maps JavaScript API.

  • It achieves the dashed effect by using a symbol with an SVG path, repeated at intervals along the polyline.

  • The polyline's opacity is set to 0, making it invisible, while the symbol provides the visible dashed line.

  • You can adjust the appearance of the dashed line by modifying the symbol's properties, such as strokeOpacity, scale, and repeat.

This example converts a polyline to a dashed line, by setting the opacity of the polyline to 0, and drawing an opaque symbol at a regular interval on the polyline.
