Pricing categories

To help you find the best fit based on the type of customization you need for your implementation, Google Maps Platform divides its offerings into categories: Essentials, Pro, and Enterprise. Each is designed to cater to different business needs and usage patterns. Each category also includes monthly billable events available at no cost per core service SKU each month.

You can customize capabilities by mixing and matching across Essentials, Pro, and Enterprise to allow for greater flexibility. Your bill continues to be based on your actual usage: you only pay for what you consume. To learn what determines a billable event, see Usage details.

Essentials

The Essentials category includes ready-to-integrate APIs & SDKs to help you get started with capabilities for key use cases. From there, you can quickly scale, backed by our global infrastructure.

Essentials SKUs have the following free usage caps:

• All Essentials SKUs (except Map Tiles API SKUs): 10,000 requests
• Map Tiles API SKUs: 100,000 requests

For accounts billed at India pricing, Essentials SKUs have the following free usage caps:

• All Essentials (India) SKUs (except Map Tiles API (India)): 70,000 requests
• Map Tiles API (India) SKUs: 700,000 requests
