Ana Cruz is a seasoned marketer and a newbie baker. Over the course of her decade long career, she has grown user adoption for global digital consumer products across the UK, EMEA & LATAM. At Google, Ana led cross-functional teams through increasingly complex launches. She is especially proud of the Google Assistant campaign in 2018, when she managed the $6M regional media budget and creative operations to reach +25M users across 4 the UK, France, Germany & Italy; and of leading the regional operations for the launch of CV-19 prevention messaging on Search to 77+ markets in 2020. A Product Marketer at heart, Ana developed a multidisciplinary approach to source user insights, spotting opportunities across analytics, academia, foundational research and small scale user feedback loops which have informed roadmaps and long-term messaging strategies for Google Search and the Google Assistant Product, Marketing, PR & Policy teams globally. Most recently, she led a 3 person team and oversaw the marketing org at InPost UK. Ana specializes in marketing strategy, operations, and internationalization, and has a broad skill-set spanning, applied behavioural science in product marketing, content marketing, campaign strategy, and market research. In her free time, Ana enjoys baking and has found a community of like-minded neurodiverse individuals on TikTok who share resources to help her and others on a daily basis #neurospicy. Ana believes in principled decision-making, prioritizing impact over output, and that active inclusion practices are table-stakes for any future facing company today.
