Once you complete sandbox testing and prior to launching in production, respond to your support case to complete final operational validation. During this final phase, Google and your team jointly validate the complete onboarding, profile configuration, and transaction loop prior to public launch.
Pre-validation checklist
Ensure you have verified the following in the sandbox environment:
- Account linking flow: The partner portal successfully launches the Google linking dialog and receives the redirect callback.
- Service proposal handshake: The backend successfully approves the
proposal using the
accounts.services.approveAPI method. - Technical profile: The merchant's
.well-known/ucpJSON profile is publicly accessible over HTTPS with valid keys. - Order webhooks: Incoming test order lifecycle events are properly
received and acknowledged with
200 OK.
Joint validation process
- Submit verification case: Reply to your existing UCP support case confirming sandbox readiness and provide the IDs of the test accounts used.
- Complete a live transaction walkthrough: A Google technical partner engineer will coordinate with your engineering team to execute live test transactions against your endpoints.
- Production enablement: Upon successful completion of all test cases, Google enables your platform for production traffic routing.
