Guida rapida al componente aggiuntivo di Google Workspace

Questa guida rapida crea un semplice componente aggiuntivo di Google Workspace che illustra home page, attivatori contestuali e la connessione ad API di terze parti.

Il componente aggiuntivo crea interfacce contestuali e non contestuali in Gmail, Calendar e Drive. Il componente aggiuntivo mostra un'immagine casuale di un gatto con testo sovrapposto all'immagine. Il testo è statico per le home page o tratto dal contesto dell'applicazione host per gli attivatori contestuali.

  • Esegui lo script.

Prerequisiti

Per utilizzare questo esempio, devi disporre dei seguenti prerequisiti:

  • Un Account Google (gli account Google Workspace potrebbero richiedere l'approvazione dell'amministratore).

  • Un browser web con accesso a internet.

  • Un progetto Google Cloud.

configura l'ambiente

Apri il progetto Cloud nella console Google Cloud

Se non è già aperto, apri il progetto Cloud che intendi utilizzare per questo esempio:

  1. Nella console Google Cloud, vai alla pagina Seleziona un progetto.

  2. Seleziona il progetto Google Cloud che vuoi utilizzare. In alternativa, fai clic su Crea progetto e segui le istruzioni sullo schermo. Se crei un progetto Google Cloud, potresti dover attivare la fatturazione per il progetto.

I componenti aggiuntivi di Google Workspace richiedono una configurazione della schermata di consenso. La configurazione della schermata per il consenso OAuth del componente aggiuntivo definisce ciò che Google mostra agli utenti.

  1. Nella console Google Cloud, vai a Menu > API e servizi > Schermata consenso OAuth.

  2. In Tipo di utente, seleziona Interno e poi fai clic su Crea.
  3. Compila il modulo di registrazione dell'app, poi fai clic su Salva e continua.

  4. Per il momento, puoi saltare l'aggiunta di ambiti e fare clic su Salva e continua. In futuro, quando creerai un'app da utilizzare al di fuori della tua organizzazione Google Workspace, dovrai cambiare Tipo di utente in Esterno e poi aggiungere gli ambiti di autorizzazione richiesti dalla tua app.

  5. Rivedi il riepilogo della registrazione dell'app. Per apportare modifiche, fai clic su Modifica. Se la registrazione dell'app è corretta, fai clic su Torna alla dashboard.

Configura lo script

Crea il progetto Apps Script

  1. Per creare un nuovo progetto Apps Script, vai a script.new.
  2. Fai clic su Progetto senza titolo.
  3. Rinomina il progetto Apps Script Cats e fai clic su Rinomina.
  4. Accanto al file Code.gs, fai clic su Altro > Rinomina. Assegna al file il nome Common.
  5. Fai clic su Aggiungi un file > Script. Assegna al file il nome Gmail.
  6. Ripeti il passaggio 5 per creare altri due file di script denominati Calendar e Drive. Al termine, dovresti avere 4 file di script separati.

  7. Sostituisci i contenuti di ogni file con il seguente codice corrispondente:

  8. Fai clic su Impostazioni progetto Icona delle impostazioni progetto.

  9. Seleziona la casella Mostra il file manifest "appsscript.json" nell'editor.

  10. Fai clic su Editor .

  11. Apri il file appsscript.json e sostituisci i contenuti con il seguente codice, quindi fai clic su Salva Icona Salva.

Copia il numero di progetto Cloud

  1. Nella console Google Cloud, vai a Menu > IAM e amministrazione > Impostazioni.

  2. Nel campo Numero progetto, copia il valore.

Imposta il progetto Cloud del progetto Apps Script

  1. Nel progetto Apps Script, fai clic su Impostazioni progetto Icona delle impostazioni progetto.
  2. In Progetto Google Cloud Platform (GCP), fai clic su Cambia progetto.
  3. In Numero di progetto Google Cloud, incolla il numero di progetto Google Cloud.
  4. Fai clic su Imposta progetto.

Installa un deployment di prova

  1. Nel progetto Apps Script, fai clic su Editor .
  2. Apri il file Common.gs e fai clic su Esegui. Quando richiesto, autorizza lo script.
  3. Fai clic su Esegui il deployment > Testa i deployment.
  4. Fai clic su Installa > Fine.

Esegui lo script

  1. Vai a Gmail.
  2. Per aprire il componente aggiuntivo, fai clic su Gatti nel riquadro laterale a destra.
  3. Se richiesto, autorizza il componente aggiuntivo.
  4. Il componente aggiuntivo mostra l'immagine di un gatto e del testo. Per cambiare l'immagine, fai clic su Cambia gatto.
  5. Se apri un'email mentre il componente aggiuntivo è aperto, l'immagine viene aggiornata e il testo cambia nella riga dell'oggetto dell'email (tronco se troppo lunga).

Puoi vedere una funzionalità simile in Calendar e Drive. Non è necessario autorizzare nuovamente il componente aggiuntivo per utilizzarlo nelle app host.
