Landsat 4 TM Annual Raw Composite [deprecated]

  • This Landsat 4 TM dataset provides annual composites of Level L1T orthorectified scenes from 1982 to 1993.

  • The dataset is deprecated and users should switch to a Collection 1-based dataset, such as LANDSAT/LT04/C01/T1_ANNUAL_RAW.

  • Images are composed of raw DN values representing scaled, calibrated at-sensor radiance.

  • The dataset is in the public domain and can be used without copyright restrictions, but USGS should be credited as the data source.

  • Earth Engine is a platform for geospatial analysis and is free for research, education, and nonprofit use.

Description

These Landsat 4 TM composites are made from Level L1T orthorectified scenes, using the DN values, representing scaled, calibrated at-sensor radiance.

As of May 1, 2017, the USGS is no longer producing Pre-Collection Landsat, and therefore this collection is complete. Please switch to a Collection 1-based dataset. See this documentation page for more information.

These composites are created from all the scenes in each annual period beginning from the first day of the year and continuing to the last day of the year. All the images from each year are included in the composite, with the most recent pixel as the composite value.
