Landsat 4 TM Collection 1 Tier 1 Annual TOA Reflectance Composite

  • This dataset contains Landsat 4 TM Collection 1 Tier 1 annual composites created from orthorectified scenes using top-of-atmosphere (TOA) reflectance.

  • The dataset is available from 1982-01-01 to 1993-01-01 and is provided by Google.

  • The composites include all scenes from each year, with the most recent pixel used for the composite value.

  • The dataset has a resolution of 30 meters and includes several spectral bands as well as a Quality Assessment (QA) band.

  • Landsat datasets are in the public domain and can be used without copyright restriction, with proper acknowledgement of the USGS as the source.

Description

These Landsat 4 TM Collection 1 Tier 1 composites are made from Tier 1 orthorectified scenes, using the computed top-of-atmosphere (TOA) reflectance. See Chander et al. (2009) for details on the TOA computation.

These composites are created from all the scenes in each annual period beginning from the first day of the year and continuing to the last day of the year. All the images from each year are included in the composite, with the most recent pixel as the composite value.
