Backed with 15 years working as Senior Lecturer and Researcher experience at Multimedia University, Kuan Hoong is always striving to improve his expertise and knowledge in the area of Big Data Analytics (BDA), Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). He was working as Senior Manager Data Science at Nielsen Malaysia focusing on consumer analytics. He was also working as Senior Data Scientist at ASEAN Data Analytics Exchange (ADAX), a private and public partnership with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) where the main focus is to drive the National Big Data Framework initiative in Malaysia. Kuan Hoong is currently working as Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Axiata Digital Advertising (ADA), a subsidiary of AXIATA focusing in delivering analytics in advertising technology. Besides work, Kuan Hoong is also passionate about building communities in Malaysia. He founded the Malaysia R User Group and TensorFlow & Deep Learning Malaysia User Group. He organizes monthly meetup and knowledge for both user groups. Kuan Hoong is always eager to share his knowledge in BDA, ML and AI by giving talks, seminar and workshops all over Malaysia.
