My Biography

Katerina is a software engineer focused on the web front end, currently working at Narwhal Technologies, Inc. She likes to mix and match web technologies, experimenting with new things, and open sources her code for the general good. Her favorite tools are vanilla JavaScript, Angular, Firebase and the Google Maps JS API. Being an active member of the Angular family, she speaks at international conferences and is the founder of the Angular Athens meetup. She is also involved with supporting diversity in the community. Recently, she also joined the program committee of the VoxxedDays Athens and Thessaloniki conferences. She has a mission - called greecehopperJs - to bring Angular and Web Technologies to the remotest areas of Greece, travelling around small greek towns, giving workshops and mentoring local communities and businesses. Katerina is obsessed with sharing knowledge and spreading the word about things she loves, which is all that has to do with web. She is indigenous to the Internet, and she loves web development. So much that she does not understand the distinction between work and life sometimes. Or so her friends say. She lives with her Maine Coon in Athens, Greece.
