Biography

Dr. Anglin, who has over 10 years of experience in user-centered design research, is a Senior User Experience Researcher at Google and an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon. As a designer of global products and services, Deana’s field-work is centered on learning about people across Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, North and South America. Her efforts inform product strategy and innovation in new markets, most notably for Google's food ordering and on-demand delivery services in the US and India via Google Search and Assistant. With a Ph.D. in Computing from Georgia Tech, her research has been recognized by Intel and Google. Additionally, her work has been published by ACM CHI, Ubicomp and IFIP.
