Method: properties.setAutomatedGa4ConfigurationOptOut

  • This process sets the automated Google Analytics 4 setup opt-out status for a Universal Analytics property, having no effect on GA4 properties.

  • The request requires specifying the Universal Analytics property ID and the desired opt-out status (true or false).

  • Successful requests will receive an empty response body.

  • Authorization requires the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.edit scope.

Sets the opt out status for the automated GA4 setup process for a UA property. Note: this has no effect on GA4 property.
