LiveCuepoints: insert

Inserts a cuepoint into a live broadcast. Currently, requests to this method must be authorized by an account associated with a YouTube Content Owner. Try it now.

Parameters

channelId string
The channelId parameter identifies the channel that owns the broadcast into which the cuepoint is being inserted.
onBehalfOfContentOwner string
The onBehalfOfContentOwner parameter identifies the content owner that the user is acting on behalf of.

Request body

Provide a liveCuepoint resource in the request body. For that resource:

  • You must specify a value for these properties:

    • broadcastId
    • settings.cueType

  • You can set values for these properties:

    • settings.offsetTimeMs
    • settings.walltime
    • settings.durationSecs

Response

If successful, this method returns a liveCuepoint resource in the response body.
