Project description
As someone keen to give back to open source through documentation, collaboration, and volunteer to work with like-minded people, it will be a terrific experience to contribute my skills and passion for writing to this project.
I will provide a technical writer's perspective to help amplify the quality and effectiveness of some of the existing writing initiatives within the OSGeo Foundation. This will vary between projects, depending on documentation maturity and skill gaps. It is expected to cover topics such as:
- Information architecture
- Documentation review
- Application of writing best practices
- Mentoring
