Project description
My strength lies in taking complex information and simplifying it, via language and formatting, into something that anyone can understand. Reading through the list of potential project proposals, a couple ideas resonated with me.
One project I would love to help with is to "Create tutorials, how-to guides, and workflow documentation including use cases and/or user stories, e.g. neuro-psychological data entry, quality control for imaging, visualization and querying of genomic data." I'm experienced with creating tutorials and how-to guides, using language and design that is friendly and accessible. I would love to dive deep into LORIS's capabilities and translate that knowledge for others.
If time permits, another project I could help with is to "Update/improve the LORIS installation and setup guide. Update and improve documentation of behavioural/neuro-psychological instrument coding standards and guides". This type of technical writing is right up my alley.
My career path may have led me to writing, but I've always been interested in neuroscience. I studied neuroscience in university and participated in several research studies. I was drawn to the INCF list of projects for this reason!
