Overage pricing is changing for Google Maps Platform Mobility Solutions, On-demand Rides and Deliveries Solution (ODRD), and Last Mile Fleet Solution (LMFS) customers.
We're reducing overage pricing and also changing how we calculate overages for Navigation SDK and Dynamic Maps. The revised pricing and updated SKUs will go into effect on July 1, 2025.
In addition to a reduction in overage pricing, we're also making the following changes to overages:
- The billable event for Navigation SDK overages will change from
startGuidancetosetDestination. - Dynamic Maps (JS) usage will now be included in overage charges.
No action is required from you. The updated pricing will be automatically reflected on the Mobility, ODRD, and LMFS overage pricing pages starting July 1, 2025.

- The Overage SKU Names in the table reflect Mobility Solution overage names.
- On-demand Rides and Deliveries Solution customers SKU names follow the pattern "Trips Monthly Overage – X".
- Last Mile Fleet Solution customers SKU names follow the pattern "LMFS Shipments Monthly Overage – X".
