What is the Promotional Pricing Offer in India?
New Google Maps Platform customers based in India can receive up to 40% off list prices for select Google Maps Platform APIs and SDKs.
For qualified customers, this is a one-time offer available for a limited time. You must opt-in to the offer by July 17, 2024, to qualify. Google reserves the right to extend the promotion opt-in period without notice. If you opt-out of accepting the offer, you cannot revert back to it.
For qualified customers who accept the offer, promotional pricing will apply for 12 months, beginning on the sign up date. Google reserves the right to change the term, subject to advance communication.
How do I qualify?
You must meet all of the following criteria:
- You must be a new Google Maps Platform customer. A new Google Maps Platform customer is a developer (individual or entity) that has never used Google Maps Platform services, or a developer whose last day of using Google Maps Platform services was more than 180 days before making a purchase with this promotion.
- You are building solutions targeted toward India-based users (e.g. your API calls return India geodata).
- Your business is domiciled in India (as determined by Google based on evidence of operations, legal/billing address, and/or registration in India).
- You must sign up online or through a Google reseller authorized to offer this promotion. Customers who are accessing Google Maps Platform Platform volume discounts or other enterprise offerings via offline contracts are not eligible for promotional pricing.
- Existing customers may not create a new billing account or new project to qualify for promotional pricing.
Any other details to know?
- Promotional pricing is up to 40% off list prices for select Google Maps Platform APIs and SDKs only.
- At the end of the promotional period, pricing will revert to list prices.
- You must have a valid credit card on file, and your account must be in good standing at all times.
- You must comply at all times with the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service and the offer's terms.
- All fees will be billed in US Dollars. You are responsible for the payment of any taxes or other fees incurred.
- This offer applies after benefits from the Google Maps Platform monthly credit program are applied. When you begin to use Google Maps Platform APIs and SDKs, the monthly credit will apply first to your usage at list prices. Once these credits are exhausted, the promotional pricing below applies.
- If you are eligible for additional Google Maps Platform credits through the Google for Startups Cloud program, those credits will then be applied against your usage at promotional prices if you are enrolled.
- This offer cannot be combined with any other offers.
- Promotional pricing is not transferable.
- If you want to cancel the promotion, you may do so at any time by contacting Billing Support through the Google customer console, without incurring any fees or penalties.
- Google reserves the right to monitor your account to confirm eligibility. If Google believes that any claim for promotional pricing is from an ineligible account, Google may, in its sole discretion, discontinue promotional pricing or terminate your account.
- This offer is void where prohibited, and is subject to change without notice.
