Publishing API Overview

The Google Play games services Publishing API allows you to automate frequent tasks having to do with games production and distribution. This provides functions similar to those available to a developer through the Google Play Console, such as:

  • Creating and modifying achievement listings
  • Creating and modifying leaderboard listings
  • Uploading icon images for achievements and leaderboards

You can access the REST APIs directly via HTTP. For more information, see the API reference and the sample app.
