Kelly Shuster is a software developer at thoughtbot, where she works on Android applications for a diverse range of clients. She is passionate about creating apps that everyone can use, with a focus on baking accessibility in from the beginning.
Previously she worked as an Android developer and accessibility lead for Android, iOS and web at iTriage. Before jumping into mobile development, she spent several years as an embedded firmware engineer focused on disk drive read channel optimization.
Kelly is the director of Women Who Code Denver. She enjoys sharing technical knowledge on her blog (www.kiodev.com) and wherever she travels, from local meetups to international conferences. When not programing, she can be found dancing in a ballet studio or playing in the Rocky Mountains.
